Wednesday...night. I curated a piece of content at the right time that I felt would do well. I woke up surprised by a gain in 2k followers. Facebook will only let me invite 1k a day from the organic post and stats that are rapidly growing. Again, if you have the right strategy, anything is possible. 100% organic growth on my blog fan page. 132k followers but my results...well they even surprised me. I check every single comment for accuracy and making sure I respond to my readers.

The algorithm doesn't work. My posts aren't being seen. I hear this all the time. I don't honestly find that to be true...but here's some results from last night. Organic reach, contrary to popular belief, is not dead. This post alone will continue to grow for 2 weeks. #meta #organicgrowth #knowyouraudience

I have been writing a #book for 5 years. Honestly, not the entire time. I journal loads, and would get ideas of how the book should be laid out. One day after the death of my friend, she was 46 and fought colon cancer for 8.5 years, I said this book can't wait any longer. I put it off because it has to do with my journey through illness and somehow, it didn't feel right to finish it. But honestly, she'd kick my ass if I let that excuse get it the way because it's all fear. With the success of my blog, my results occasionally surprise me. I was being copied. I started to see my quotes places I wasn't expecting. I was asked to write a few quotes for various people's articles and read their books. A person once copied my entire blog post and started popping up everwhere.I was frustrated and maybe a bit in awe of what people were doing. So I went back to helping other people achieve the results I knew I was capable of. People make memes and I read the words occasionally from my blog posts. I don't know why it shocked me, but it did.So here's my latest experiment. Still going from the 26 of April, 100% organic. And I'm finishing my book. My audience clearly identifies with things that deeply resonate with me.

So my recent post has gone viral from my blog page, and it is all organic. I have Meta Ad experience, I paid thousands of dollars to learn how to create the perfect funnel, run the best webinar, create the best copy that converts and more. I was miserable trying it that way. It took the fun right out of my consulting business. So I started doing it my way and this time, I posted exactly what I *felt* and knew, somehow, would resonate with others (I know my audience for my blog). I do not cold call. I do not push into people's DM's unless they have honestly asked me for advice. Today's reach is 339,427 with impressions being the same. That's nice. BUT, the kicker is the 27,073 post reactions, comments and shares. My retention on time on a product is now going on 8 years based off one idea I had in 2015, and I set up my online e-book and course portal. Then I was asked to help others.I have always, no matter what account I am running, gone back and had real interaction with my clients/fans/customers, etc. I became Meta Certified to run communities because it IS about the community...not the metrics. Prior to the pandemic, I helped local restaurants connect with exactly who they needed reach, yoga studio owners, an independent bookstore and real estate agents...all by myself as a one woman show. I created copy that converts by being real. I created opportunities for growth by coming up with a detailed plan no matter who hired me, based off their community. My resume is a little of this, a little of that, but the results speak for themselves in my data. Teaching was all about learning each one of my students and helping coach them to the best version of themselves and creating a community in many ways is the same. If you are creating a community as an afterthought and not really engaging, but you are spending tons on ads, you might want to rethink your strategy. #organicgrowth #communityengagement #marketingadvice

Facebook #Meta tip of the day. Secure your business page. Mark is unfortunately not going to help you get your FB page back after it's been compromised. I have managed to get Client's Business Pages back, but trust me, you do not want to go down that road. Check out the following things:1. Do you have more than one admin? The days of a fake profile running your page are long past. Don't do that. Use real people you trust. 2. Turn on 2-factor authentication. Tap in the top right of Facebook. Scroll down and tap Settings, then tap Password and security. Scroll down and tap Use two-factor authentication. Choose the security method you want to add and follow the on-screen instructions.3. Don't click on those random emails saying you were hacked and here's a link. That's definitely not Facebook. Instead go directly to your account settings and change your password if you suspect suspicious activity. Yes, they'll probably say "we noticed a login from xyz, was this you" but go directly to your account and check your settings as well as login activity. Just doing these few steps might help secure your account.
